Guardians of the Galaxy Vol2 (2017) **REVIEW**

When the first ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ was released I must say I was a little hesitant to see it but I saw it and today I love it and can’t stop watching it. So when I heard a second one was coming I was really excited and I got the opportunity this week to go to the cinema and see it and I have to say, it’s absolutely amazing.

Volume 2 begins with the guardians protecting batteries from a monster who want to see it. We see little Groot fighting small rats because they ‘looked at him’ funny. They manage to kill the monster but Rocket also manage to offend the people who hired them to protect the batteries by stealing some of the batteries so now they are being hunted. Not only that, Quill’s father shows up. Of course Quill is a little hestitant to believe him but Gamora talks him into going with his father to get some answers.

So obviously Quill likes him and starting to admire his father. We get to see who his father is and what he is. Answers. But can the team handle it? In this film we get to see a new side of Drax and it’s downright hysterical, who knew he could be sensitive, funny and down to earth kind of alien. He befriends Quill’s fathers ‘pet’ Mantis and it’s really adorable. And to talk about Groot, he steals the show by being freakishly cute. I am hoping for the third film, we get to see Groot as a teenager, that would be epic. When Quill meets his real father, you will start to understand Yondu.

If you loved the first ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ then you will love the second one. It will make you laugh til you cry and just cry. It got it’s funny moments and sad ones. They hit you right in the feels.

Actors: Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Sylvester Stallone, Pom Klementieff, Kurt Russell and many more.

The Fate of the Furious (2017) **REVIEW**

We all have heard about or seen all or some of the ‘Fast & Furious’ movie series. The toll is now up to 8 films and this one is smacked with different stars. They even have a actor from Game of Thrones.

‘The Fate of the Furious’ is just a action packed film with explosions. We got the regular gang trying to fight one of their own this time who is working together with a infamous cyber terrorist called Cipher. She is one crazy bitch, if I may say.  We get to see Elena again, the woman Dom had a relationship with in Rio when he thought Letty was dead. And she comes with a surprise one that makes Dom betray his own family and wife to go work for a terrorist.

This being the 8th installment of the film it’s so predictable, we all know the ending. Happy ending, all is well. I’d like to see one ending where it doesn’t end well, something different.

Actors: Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Charlize Theron, Kristofer Hivju, Ludacris, Luke Evans, Nathalie Emmanuel and many more.

The Last Witch Hunter (2015) **REVIEW**

I have to admit when I found out Vin Diesel was going to have the lead role in a fantasy film I was highly skeptical. Since we all are used to see him in action films. But I was pleasantly surprised.

Kaulder, a witch hunter. He is cursed by the Witch Queen to live for an eternity. He lives on, hunts witches and other beings. He works with the church who keeps his secret of his existence.  In present day Kaulder is being attacked by someone who knows more about his past then what he remembers. His guardian priest gets attacked, while everyone thinks he is dead Kaulder knows he isn’t dead – yet. He need to find the witch who put a curse on him to make him come back. But he is working against time and the enemy – who seems smart and always one step ahead. Kaulder takes help from a witch, yes. You heard me. The being he hunts and puts away, he takes help from her. But she isn’t like any other witch. She’s good and rarely uses her power. We get to know the source of Kaulder’s immortality curse and how he can be killed.

The Last Witch Hunter. Was a little slow in the beginning and I think the film was a little short, could been longer. Ended fast. But you get to know a lot so you have to keep up with the story. Seeing Vin Diesel doing fantasy is something different indeed and he does it well.

You see actors like Vin Diesel, Rose Leslie (seen on Game of Thrones), Elijah Wood, Olafur Darri Olafsson, Rena Owen, Michael Caine, Joseph Gilgun and many more.

Fast and Furious 7 **REVIEW**

I know a lot of people are skeptic about this movie but I went to see it this afternoon and it was GREAT, just do awesome. In the end (no spoiler) they made the sweetest tribute to Paul Walker (Brian) – it will leave you tear eyes (if you’re sensitive to that, like me).

The gang – Toretto, Brian, Letty, Roman and Tej are back. After the London deal the big bad brother of Shaw is coming after them. First one to go was Han (he died in Tokyo Drift by people thought was a car accident) and Toretto goes to Tokyo to bring him back. They get help by Mr. Nobody and his team – Mr Nobody gives the team an offer to get and help a hacker who made a whole new program called Gods Eye. It’s a hacking program who hacks in to ALL cameras (traffic, phones etc) that are wired to net. You can find anyone with that thing. So the offer is – get the hacker out, bring the hacker to safety and get Gods Eye as help to find Shaw’s brother who’s hunting them where ever they go. And this brother is something else – he managed to get Hobbs down and in to a hospital bed. Scary guy – and the brother is played by the one and only Jason Statham. Now they have to find big Shaw and bring him down – and they have to it in their hometown. And the hacker – A GIRL and you will recognize her from Game of Thrones.

This was a whole new action movie for Fast and Furious and it’s just awesome. You won’t regret watching this and in the end was the best tribute to Paul Walker. His brother played him in some scenes but his face was computer made and I must say – you couldn’t see it, it was so awesome done. And yes I would recommend it for anyone who loves this franchise.

You see actors like Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Kurt Russell, Nathalie Emmanuel and many many more.
