Family/Animated Week: Big Hero 6 (2014) **REVIEW**

Big Hero 6 is recommended for anyone in any age really. It’s a good film, it will make you feel happy, sad, comforted and laugh. The story about Hiro and his friends are a touching story and anyone can relate to it. We all lost someone close in life and we went numb and neglected everything. But with help from family and friends we can always pick ourselves back up again.

Hiro isn’t really the ordinary pre teen. He’s smart – graduated from high school at the age of 13 and doing illegal robo fighting at age of 14. His older brother Tadashi is trying to get Hiro away from that and takes him to his college to show him the “nerd lab”. And of course Hiro is blown away by all the amazing things achieved there and really would like to go. All Hiro have to do is invent something as admission project and hopefully head professor will like it.

Now Hiro manage to invent something that blows so many peoples minds and he shows how smart Hiro actually is. The professor likes it and Hiro is in. But.. There is a fire and he thinks his invention is destroyed and the professor is trapped (as they think) so Tadashi runs in to the flames and gets trapped himself. While Hiro is mourning his brother he finds connection to his brothers last invention – a robot who’s a medical assistant. he also have support from his loving aunt and the other nerds from the “nerd lab”. But Hiro soon discovers that his invention wasn’t destroyed in the fire. Now all he have to do is try to get them back. But how? With a little help from his friends of course.

Big Hero 6 is animated film with voice actors such as: Maya Rudolph, Scott Adsit, Ryan Potter, Daniel Henney, T.J Miller, Jamie Chung, Damon Wayans Jr, Genesis Rodriguez and many more.

Family/Animated Week: How To Train Your Dragon (2010) **REVIEW**

I’ll been hearing all good things about How To Train Your dragon so I decided to see the first one. I have to admit I never seen the films before until today and I love it. It’s different and original. And no matter what age you’re in you can appreciate the films.

Hiccup is a viking but he’s no ordinary viking like the others in his village. It’s very often they get attacked by dragons and Hiccup always wanted to kill one to get some status. Because he always been small and skinny, while the others are a little bigger. So it’s often he gets picked on and the others feel like he shouldn’t be anywhere near a dragon. Specially his father, the village leader feels Hiccup isn’t viking enough to be battling the dragons. So Hiccup himself built a catapult of some sort and manage to catch a dragon no one seen before – Nightfury. So he goes looking for him and see’s that he’s hurt. While Hiccup is taking care of him his father decided after all, Hiccup have to trainĀ  how to kill a dragon. But all along Hiccups just want to take care of them. He’s starting to see another side of the dragons, specially of the dangerous Nightfury that he named Toothless. They get a strong relationship and trust each other. During the time Hiccup learns a lot about dragons from Toothless, he use it in his training.. But he doesn’t want to do it, he doesn’t want to kill a dragon, they aren’t dangerous, long as you are friendly, so are they. You just need to know how to show them you’re not dangerous.

Highly recommended film for any age, no matter if you’re 2 or 90 years old, you will come to love the film.

Voice actors: Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, T.J Miller and many more.
