One of the most anticipated films of 2017 for “Wolverine” fans must be “Logan”. The last film of the series where we get to meet Logan once again but for the final time. It’s a bittersweet film, where there aren’t much laughter but a lot of sadness and anger that comes with the film.
It’s 2029 and mutants are a mere distant memory for the world, there haven’t been a mutant born in 25 years. Logan is still around with Charles Xavier, who’s now suffering from dementia. A mental illness in the world most dangerous brain. Logan is a chauffeur, driving a limo. And you can tell something isn’t right with him, he seem sick. But one day a lady shows up out of nowhere wanting help, but Logan turns her down, until one day he decides to listen. She want him to help a little girl to come to a mutant camp that’s safe, Eden if you will. This girl has been genetically altered by same company who altered Logan’s DNA. But this girl, she’s isn’t just any random DNA altered mutant, they took Logan’s DNA and she is… his daughter.
So now obviously is a race against time so the mercenaries won’t find them and the little girl he’s helping is quite the badass when she fights. She’s the mutant with two claws coming out of her hands and one from each foot.
Actors: Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Dafne Keen, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant Elizabeth Rodriguez and many more.
Back in 1996 the classic of Independence Day was released and we got to see humans kick some alien ass back to where they came from. And we thought that was the end of it. But little did we know – 20 years later. They wanted revenge.
It’s now 2016 and earth looks very different. Technology is more superior thanks to the tech the aliens left so we could evolve our tech. We get to see some familiar faces in the second film. The children are all grown up. Stripper became doctor. Daughter of 1996 President now works in White House for different President. Son to the pilot who kicked some alien ass is now a pilot too. We see David working for UN and so much more. Earth is now in peace and there’s no more war between countries. All countries stand as one. And thinking about it, doesn’t that sound like an amazing thing?
During the July 4th celebrations Earth is getting a signal. A larger ship is coming in. Larger than the Atlantic ocean. When they land alot of countries where destroyed and many lives lost. But as we all know, humans won’t take this and will fight back. Without result. The aliens have come back with stronger power and this time – with a Queen.
On the moon the military shoots down a ship that they think is unfriendly. They take it back to Earth to Area 51 to discover this orb or what it is, is a friendly one and a ally.
With massive ships, funny puns, love, betrayal and good old “You’re not welcome here” attitude Independence day 2 is a well done film and puts a lot of nostalgia back from the childhood when the first film was released. Script could have been a little better but all around, the film was incredible. And I wonder, will we be seeing a third one in the future?
You see actors like Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Goldblum, Jessie T Usher, Bill Pullman, Maika Monroe, William Fichtner, Judd Hirch, Brent Spiner and many more.

This movie got recommended to me by a friend couple of months back and thought I’d give it a go.
It begins with a guy named Ryan, a former soldier who been taken captive and is in a can with a small boy. He can’t remember much of what happened. But he gets them both free and start running. The boy says a man with red mask killed his mother. All of the sudden, at their hiding place he finds a red mask in his jacket and the boy starts to scream. Someone who is looking for them finds them and then Ryan wakes up in a room with a suit on 10 days later. He have no idea what is going on but others seem to know him and he doesn’t know them.
He is part of an organisation called “The Anomaly”, he got a small thing in his neck, he only got 9.47 minutes to do so, he got a chip and it takes that long for it to reboot. Each time he pass out or die he lose time, 10 days, 3 weeks. He also finds himself in new locations each time he wakes up. And he doesn’t remember where he is, why he is there or what he’s done while he was out. He needs to find out what is going on and fast.
You see actors like Ian Somerhalder, Noel Clarke, Brian Cox, Luke Hemsworth, Art Parkinson and many more. Both Ian Somerhalder and Noel Clarke is doing an amazing job in this movie and the roles are like made for them. If you like mystery movies, those who gets you thinking, this one is for you.
