The Imitation Game (20140 **REVIEW**

I had the pleasure watching The Imitation Game this weekend and I have to say it was an extraordinary film. Benedict Cumberbatch was excellent as Alan Turing in this true based film about a mathematician trying to crack enigma with fellow mathematicians.

Alan Turing is brilliant person but slightly arrogant. The Imitation Game is about Alan Turing – the guy who we can thank for today for having computers. Alan Turing worked for the government in second world war to crack a code that the Germans was using. All Alan had to do was to build a machine who would help them. He had to write a letter to Churchill to get the funding for the machine because the man in charge of the operation wouldn’t. He wanted to find any reason to kick out Alan. So, Alan Turing builds his machine but it won’t work yet. Him and the others are trying to find a reason to why, they have been given a month while his boss trying to find a Soviet spy at the complex. Which they think is Alan Turing.

Also, Alan Turing trying to keep his sexual preferences a secret. Since homosexuality was illegal back then. He proposes to a female mathematician who been helping Alan in secret with his machine. Her family didn’t want her to be there and he had to hide his sexuality. She was fine with that, she liked his mind and their discussions. But Alan being who he was ended it all. In 1954 Alan Turing ended up killing himself and not being given any credit for his work for the government top-secret project to break the enigma. In 2013 the Queen herself gave Alan Turings family an open apology and gave him credit for his work and lifted his sentence for being homosexual and he had to take pills for chemical castration.

The Imitation Game shows you the adventure and fascinating journey that Alan Turing took when he was working at this project that civilians got read and see about so many years after the war. It’s a film that you REALLY have to see in your life.

You see actors like Benedict Cumberbatch, Keira Knightly, Matthew Goode, Rory Kinnear, Allen Leech, Charles Dance, Mark Strong, Jack Tarlton and many more.

Kingsman: The Secret Service **REVIEW**

When I saw the trailer for this movie I was sucked in and wanted to see it so badly. I finally got to see it yesterday. We get to see Colin Firth in a different role than what I am used to see him in and it was great to see him do something different.

Kingsman is about a secret agency not funded by government. We get to see Harry getting bad news to a woman and her son about their husband and father. Who died by saving Harry during a Kingsman mission. Little Eggsy grows up and is not in the best situation. He gets into fights, his mom dates someone new – greatest ass of them all. Eggsy gets himself arrested and calls a number that’s behind a medallion that Harry gave him as a small child. Harry gives him a choice – go back t o his friends and no future or take a chance and come with Harry to get a future. Of course Eggsy takes the chance but the question is: Is Eggsy Kingsman material? Will he make his father proud from grave by making it all the way to become a flawless Kingsman Agent?

We get to see a series of heart jumping training and action. We get to laugh and feel heartbroken. But we get to see Colin Firth &  Samuel L Jackson is one of their best performance yet. I would recommend this movie to anyone, you wouldn’t be disappointed of it. It delivers everything you get to see in the trailer – excitement, laughter, tension & smiles.

You get to see actors like Colin Firth, Mark Strong, Jack Davenport, Mark Hamill, Sofia Boutella, Samuel L Jackson, Michael Caine & Taron Egerton and many more.
