Ghostbusters (2016) **REVIEW**

When the trailer for Ghostbusters was released everyone lost their shit about it. Started saying it was a bad idea for an all femaleĀ  cast and they would ruin it. It won’t be the same. Well, that is the idea. Did you know that Dan Aykroyd is the one who owns the rights and came with the idea of an all female cast? No? Guess you didn’t.

Ghostbusters we see 4 ladies – 3 scientists and 1 who wants to be for the shit of it. They are trying to prove that ghosts are real but being made fun of and called lunitics. The city tries to cover up all the ghost seeings but you can’t hide it for too long. Someone is making ghosts to come out of hiding and they are powerful. They are coming out of places with a powerful death happening – like a tourist haunted house, former prison etc. So it’s up to these ladies to fight the ghosts and save the world.

Now, when it comes to the script it was quite alright but acting was questionable. Same when it came to the chemistry of the cast, it was mediocre. We see cameos from 5 of the former actors of the original films. And it was clever and the highlight of the film to see them. After the credit rolled you can see a scene where it leans on a second film might come – because Zuul was mentioned.

Actors; Kristen Wiig, Ed Begley Jr, Charles Dance, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, Neil Casey, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Chris Hemsworth and many more.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013) **REVIEW**

Have you ever just zoned out and be in your own little world for a while and people looking at you like you are weird? I’ve done it several times and so have Walter Mitty.

Walter Mitty works for the Times in the basement working with pictures. And one day someone comes in and want to close the magazine and now the final cover picture is now missing. So Walter gets talked into hunting down the photographer he so much admires across the globe for that final picture. Little does he know the picture is at the office all a long. But Walter get to have his adventure.

At the office there is this woman he has a crush on. For the duration of the day he does zone out and day dreams and people make fun of him. For Walter to go on his adventure is something he’s a little scared doing but he takes the plunge and he get to have the most fantastic adventure.. When Walter Mitty comes back to work he’s able to stand his ground and tell off the people who think they are above him and is a relaxed person.

The inspiration you get from this film is live your life to the maximum with a lot of adventures. You learn that life is too short to be sitting in a office or at home to not take life by the horns and do something for yourself.

You see actors like Ben Stiller, Kristen Wiig, Adam Scott, Kathryn Hahn, Sean Penn, Marcus Antturi and many more.

The Martian (2015) **REVIEW**

Ever since I saw the trailer for this film I been having high expectations for this film and how it was going to be. And they did not fail. In the film they did use a lot of ACCURATE science and not the Hollywood kind which I admire the director for. And yes, the film is a very good one and you should see it.

Mark Watney is a botanist who is up on Mars with 5 others and during their time there a huge storm hits and they are being told to come back home. But Mark gets hit with a antenna during this storm and their get away to the ship. So the other members of the crew lift off from Mars and on their way home to Earth.

Mark wakes up after the storm with being impaled but okay. Soon he realize he is alone on Mars, the others left. And now he have to figure out how to contact NASA and to make sure the food will last him. He figures out how to grow potatoes on Mars and then remembers a rover that was on Mars in the 90’s.

NASA finds out he’s alive and okay and not dead like they assumed him to be they now have a huge pressure. They need to find a way to get Mark home safe. But how!?

You see actors like Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Jeff Daniels, Michael Pena, Sean Bean, Kate Mara, Sebastian Stan, Aksel Hennie, Chiwetel Ejiofor and many more.

Girl Most Likely (2012) **REVIEW**

We all know Kristen Wiig and how funny she can be. But she also can play a serious role as this one.

Imogen believes she got it all in life. Amazing boyfriends and friends in Manhattan. Til one day when her boyfriend dumps her and she got no where to go. She tries to kill herself in hope that her boyfriend would come back. Her mother comes to pick her up to care for her for 72 hours. Where she finds out her old bedroom been rented out and her mom’s new boyfriend is a weird one.

But while living with her mother she get to go back to her roots in Jersey. And all her life she thought he was dead til one day when she lives at her mothers house Imogen finds out that her father is alive and well. Now – Imogen want to find him in hope that he can help her to go back to normal.

Girl Most Likely is rated as a comedy but it’s more a drama comedy. I believe most women can connect to Imogen one way or another. Kristen Wiig is amazing in this film and it’s worth a watch.

You see actors like Kristen Wiig, Annette Bening, Matt Dillon, Darren Criss, Christopher Fitzgerald, Bob Balaban and many more.

Family/Animated Week: How To train Your Dragon 2 (2014) **REVIEW**

Hiccup and Toothless are back in a second film. In the second film is 5 years later and everything is different in the village. Astrid and Hiccups are engaged, Hiccups and Toothless are closer than ever. Even though Jiccups lost his leg in the first film he made some

A lot have changed in the village. Now they have something called dragon racing and that looks so much fun. Hiccups is all grown up and we see the dragons living in the village like they belong there. Everything been dragon proofed of course and they have a big cave for them to sleep in. Since we see more dragons in this film I have to say they act more or less like cats and dogs. It’s so cute and a bit funny.

While Hiccup is flying he comes across a mysterious rider he investigates and Hiccups find out it’s his mother, who believed been dragon food 20 years ago. She lives in a cave FILLED with dragons and calls it safe haven for dragons with a huge alpha who takes care of them. During all of this a new enemy lurks in the shadows – Drago and his dumb errand boy Eret. Now Hiccup, Stoick, Valka and the entire island have to come together to fight Drago and his madness plan. You’ll also see a new side of Toothless – a good side. Even Eret might surprise you in the end!

Still, this movie is also for any age, no matter if you’re 2 or 90 you will come to love this film.

Voice actors: Jay Baruchel, Cate Blanchett, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Djimon Hounsou, Kristen Wiig, Kit Harington and many more.
