Zootopia (2016) **REVIEW**

When it comes to Disney and Pixar they usually make films lately to explain to children what friendship is, what family is (not always blood) and so on. And they been doing it using animals or aliens. And Zootopia teaches you about friendship and not judging other people based on who they are and where they are from.

Judy, a small little bunny from a faring village outside of the city Zootopia. She got some vivid imagination and as a child she wanted to become a the first bunny police officer. Obviously, people mocked her for her dreams. But once she became an adult it was off to the academy. What happens next? She graduates. Her assignment is; Zootopia. She’s excited but for her parents, they get a little worried. Specially knowing Zootopia got foxes. So they try to give her some fox repellent.

Once on the job, Judy meets a fox, Nick. He seems nice at first wanting to buy an ice cream for his son and she falls for it. Judy gets the assignment of finding missing otter who been missing for 2 weeks and her first lead seems to be Nick. So she goes and find him and black mails him to helping her (kids, never do that). While trying to find the otter they unfold something bigger, a lot of animals from the predator family have gone missing and no one connected the dots until Judy and Nick finds ALL of the missing animals. But why exact;y is a specific kind of animals going insane? It can’t be just DNA, something else must be behind it and Judy is determined to find out why.

‘Zootopia’ is a fantastic film for kids and adults to watch, I love watching it and seen it a few times already. It contains a lot of humor for the adults and kids.

Actors: Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Idris Elba, Jenny Slate, Nate Torrence, Bonnie Hunt, J.K Simmons and many more.

Bastille Day (2016) **REVIEW**

I’ve been a huge fan of Idris Elba since I saw Beast of no Nation of Netflix. And when I saw the trailer of this film I got a little excited. I like seeing him in different roles, the man can act. And if you haven’t seen him any film or TV series yet, you really should. The man is talented.

Bastille Day is a pretty good movie far as action goes but little weak on the story line. Bastille Day got some good actors. Over all, it’s a decent film and worth a watch. You can watch it once and that’s about it.

Bastille Day is about a CIA agent played by Mr Elba and his job is to catch a nobody pocket picker Michael Mason after he was seen at a bomb seen. Now, what happened here was Mason stole a bag from a woman who seemed stressed and he didn’t find anything of value in the bag so he tossed it and three-seconds after he tossed it, a bomb goes off. So of course he runs away and now Sean Briar from CIA is after him only to find out, Mason wasn’t the guy behind the bomb. So who was? You get to see scenesĀ  with a few bad guys and here is your job to make out who they are because their identities will become clear to you later in the film and why they are doing what they are doing.

After you see the film you will realize how easy it is to make people do what you want, if you want to cause a riot. Make a bomb and pin it on the muslims. Like it happened in the film and see the chaos unfold.

So Sean Briar, Michael Mason is now set to find the woman whose bag Mason stole to work together while they are being chased by the bad guys and they are shooting on sight since Madden have been stamped as a terrorist, since he was seen on the scene of the bomb and now authorizes believe he is the guy they are looking for. So Briar, Mason and the lady who’s bag got stolen are now working together to get evidence that Madden is innocent.

Actors: Idris Elba, Richard Madden, Kelly Reilley, Charlotte Le Bon, Anatol Yusef, Jose Garcia, Eriq Ebouaney and many more.

Beast Of No Nation (2015) Netflix Original **REVIEW**

When it comes to films about child soldiers and their life after it – it can be discussed for many hours and everyone might not agree. But this film – it hits head on the nail. You will see children and teens shooting and laughing when killing other humans. Specially this young boy. He started off as a normal boy in a African country – rebels came to his village and killed his father & brother. His mother and sister fled to the capital and are safe.

Agu – about 10 years of age. He lives in a unnamed African country with his family. Until the rebels gets caught up them and Agu is left alone and scared in the woods. While he wanders in the woods, hungry and tired, he run into a militia. They recruit him and Agu is quickly becoming the Commanders favorite. Agu learns fast while being in the militia – if he doesn’t adapt they will kill him. When he becomes one of them – he is noticing he enjoying killing other people. Seeing things and doing things a young boy shouldn’t. Agu finds friendship in this militia, in a mute boy who can’t be much older than Agu – named Strika. They share something special – something that only they will understand.

Beast of no nation definitely got a strong message to deliver to everyone. With it’s amazing cast and script you will enjoy this film. You will feel angry and sad.

You see actors like Abraham Attah, Emmanuel Affadzi, Ama K Abebrese, Kobina Amissah-Sam, Francis Weddey, Idris Elba, Emmanuel Nii Adom Quaye and many more.

The Gunman (2015) **REVIEW**

From the directors that gave you “Taken” now gives you The Gunman. And excellent high shooting film with Sean Penn in the leadrole as Terrier – a former sniper who works for a mercenary team and kills the minister of mines in Congo 2006..

When he arrives to Congo years later to work on building wells for villages and gets attacked by a group of men who’s looking for “the white man”. He instantly knows it’s a hit and he was targeted. So he travels to London to speak to one of his former colleague. But during his time in London he gets dizzy and passes out. At the hospital he finds out he got a brain injury very common with people who used to be close explosives and tossed around – like military. So he is ordered to not be around loud surroundings.

He doesn’t listen – so he goes to Barcelona to find another colleague. He need to find out who is after him and why. So when in Barcelona he finds out his former love Annie is now married to his former colleague. But while he is Barcelona he gets attacked again and this time chased around Barcelona. He gets approached by an English man to help him stop the people who is doing this..

Will he find out who attacked him and why? Have it something to do with the assassination of the minister in Congo? Some might think it’s a boring film but I quite liked it. You need to follow the entire film – if you lose yourself you will lose the plot.

You see Sean Penn, Jasmine Trinca, Javier Bardem, Ray Winston, Mark Rylance, Idris Elba and many more.
