Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) **REVIEW**

Just before Christmas I got to see the new Star Wars film. I’m a fan of the franchise and seen the films. I’ve seen split opinions about the new one but I can say I really enjoyed it. Many thought Disney would ruin this legendary epic saga but they kept how it is.

It’s been 30 years since Darth Vader defeated and all been well until now. A new threat have risen and it’s bigger and meaner than Darth Vader. We get to see how someone from the resistance is trying to find Luke – who disappeared, visit a village to get the last piece of clues on where Luke is. During this visit this new threat also pays a visit and mayhem begins. We get introduced to a new droid, a hidden star of the film. The droid carries the last clue and basically runs from the mayhem. During the shoot out in this village, one of the storm troopers doesn’t want to kill. He hesitates. The resistance guy gets captured and the storm troopers helps him to escape.

We get introduced to several new characters. For example Rey. A lonely girl who is scavenging for pieces to get food. She was left alone on a planet by her parents. But we don’t know who her parents are. But she does have the force and it conflicted about it. Before she finds out about who she is, she meets the droid and gives him shelter. She meets the storm trooper and they set out on adventure and steal a ship. Not any ship – Millennium Falcon.

In this film we find out who the new threat is. We see familiar faces, Chewie, Han Solo, Princess Lea, R2D2, c-3PO & Luke (in the end). What did you think? Thought they wouldn’t find him? They did.

If you are a fan of the Star Wars franchise I would recommend for you to see this film if you haven’t done so already. It can be a messy film but it all comes together in the middle and you have to follow and trust the film. And you will like the new droid, he is charming and quite funny for not having lines.

You see actors like Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and many more.

Cowboys & Aliens (2011) **REVIEW**

When I first saw the trailer for this film when it got released I didn’t know what to expect so I skipped watching it. Until now, when I decided alright, I’ll see it. And I gotta say – I had to idea what to expect or what to see when I clicked on the film.

It’s 1873 and Jake finds himself in a dessert but doesn’t know who he is or where came from. He gets to a small town near by finding himself getting arrested, there is a warrant for him. Just when he’s about to go to Santa Fe for trial something comes from the sky and starts shooting and taking people away. No one knows what this is. But after following them, the town goes hand in hand with the natives. Now the cowboys and native Americans have to fight together to stop these aliens from taking the rest of their home.

Would I recommend this film? Not sure, it’s funny and horrible all at once. Good to watch if you wanna kill some time but it’s not as good as you would think it would be.

You see actors like Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde, Noah Ringer and many more.

Expendables 3 (2014) **REVIEW**

A third Expendables film and it doesn’t disappoint. It got a lot of action and a lot of familiar old faces and all of them kick ass one way or another. The film proves it doesn’t matter how old you are – you’re still an action hero.

Barney is back with his team of suicidal nut cases. But when they’re on a mission something goes wrong – Caesar gets shoot but non other than a former Expendable – Stonebanks. Who’s been presumed dead for years now. Barney goes on a mission to hunt him down and bring him back – well CIA wants him alive. Barney just want to hunt him down. So he hires new people for his team because he doesn’t want his original team hurt or ended up dead in this suicide mission. But everything goes so wrong with the mission to get Stonebanks that Barney now have  to save his new team with the old one.
A lot of action and swearing so don’t let your kids see the film. But we see a woman kicking some serious ass. She definitely is my new favorite on this franchise.

You see actors like Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Harrison Ford, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mel Gibson, Wesley Snipes, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, Glen Powell, Antonio Banderas & Ronda Rousey.

Indiana Jones: the Temple of Doom **REVIEW**

The second installment of Indiana Jones movies. I didn’t think this one was just as good. Why? Because of the female character. How that character acted and what she said – it’s somehow ruined the movie for me. I have a hard time liking girls like that – fictional or RL.

Indiana Jones, Willie and Short Round is being left in a plane for it to crash but they manage but get out before it crashes and lands in India. They come to a village where Indiana are being asked to save a crystal that was stolen from their village and find the children who were kidnapped. Indiana is a little skeptic about it but he does it anyway. He sets of with Willie – the spoiled woman who almost ruined the film for me and the little cute Asian kid Short Round. They arrive to a palace where they eat bizarre things – monkey brain, serpant, roaches. Yuck. Indiana finds himself almost getting killed in his room so he walks into Willies room to see if there’s anyone in there too. But they find a hidden pathway behind a pillar. And walk into a temple and walk into all kind of trouble. Indiana, Willie and Short Round now have to figure out how to get out of this.

Yes,  I would recommend the movie and ignore the woman. I really didn’t her but you can’t like every character in films. Will always be that one who annoys you.

You see actors like Harrison Ford, Kate Capshaw, Jonathan Ke Quan, Amrish Puri, Roshan Seth, Ric Young, Dan  Aykroyd and many more.
