The Circle (2017) **REVIEW**

We live in a era of where social media have a lot of power. Information can be spread like wild fire and we also find out what we all had for dinner. I heard about ‘The Circle’ book and got interested since it’s aspect is the power of social media but then Emma Watson & Tom Hanks was doing a film out of it.

‘The Circle’ is about Mae getting a job at a huge tech company called The Circle, she’s so excited. They provide her with a room to stay. It’s a massive place and basically got all you need within the walls, you never need to leave really. One day as she sits doing her job two people come up o her asking why she hasn’t set up her social media profile yet, it was part of her job to be on social media and talk to co-workers. But one day that backfires when she shares her friends lanterns and he is being called for deer killer. The lanterns are made out of horns but he gets the horns from others who hunt. It goes so far he need to live in woods to hide. Power of social media.

One day Mae agrees to do something I would never do. To always wear a camera to live record her everyday life for everyone to see. It becomes a huge success. But with that also comes pain. She’s starting to lose friends and family due to the fact she can’t talk to them without them feeling uneasy by the constant filming. After her friends death she feels that something is wrong with The Circle and is determined to find out what, for everyone to see and.. to film it all for all her viewers.

Yes, I would say it’s important to see this film and it’s available on Netflix. You see the real power of social media and how quick jump on the band wagon of filming EVERYTHING and put it out there for everyone to see. In the film they believe that information should be available for ALL, all sorts of information. But that, I don’t agree on. It can be dangerous to know absolutely everything. There are some things we should not know, knowing everything doesn’t always mean good.

Actors: Emma Watson, Tom Hanks, Ellar Coltrane, Glenne Headly, Bill Paxton, Karen Gillan, Nate Corddry, Mamoudou Athie, John Boyega and many more.

Beauty and the Beast (2017) **REVIEW**

We all seen the animation ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and how it changed our childhood with Belle being a smart girl who loves to read and see’s the beauty in all.

‘Beauty and the Beast’ live remake must be one of the most magical films I’ve seen in a very long time. We get to see some added scenes but they sticked to the story we saw as children. We see the beast being played by Dan Stevens and he is potraying him like the role was made for him. And let’s talk about Emma Watson playing Belle.. oh yes, she does it like she would be Belle. And who would have thought that she could actually sing. Playing Belle’s father we see Kevin Kline, as the horrible man who wants to marry Belle, Gaston is being played by Luke Evans. Luke sold me as Gaston, he terrified me a little because they made Gaston much darker in the live remake than in the original and did a excellent job.

‘Beauty and the Beast’ is about Belle living in a small village in France wanting something more in life than just a small town life and to be married. Then we have the prince living in a castle, a spell been cast on the castle and everyone is.. changed. A rose is in a glass, if the prince doesn’t find true love, a girl who loves him for him and see something different than the beast he is, the spell is broken. We see the regular Belle being locked in but Lumiere unlocking the door and leads her to her room and the beast wanting to have dinner with her but.. she’s the only one who says no. And we know how the story goes from there – the beast changes slowly after he saves Belle from the wolves. Maurice, Belles father, being called crazy and thrown into a mental institute. The beast gives Belle a HUGE library and she can’t believe her eyes. They are slowly falling for each other and admits their love for one and other when Gaston – tries to kill the beast to get rid of him so he can marry Belle.

‘Beauty and the Beast’ live remake is something you have to go and see if you love the original. It contains the best magic and graphic you’ve ever seen and you just fall in love with the story one more time. And don’t forget to sing along to the songs.

Actors: Emma Watson, Luke Evans, Dan Stevens, Josh Gad, Kevin Kline, Hattie MoraHan, Haydn Gwynne, Ray Fearon, Ian McKellen, Ewan McGregor, Audra MacDonald and many more.

Regression (2015) **REVIEW**

I am sure you have heard about this film with Emma Watson and Ethan Hawke in the lead role about a Satanic cult in a small town. When it comes to cults like this one it can be a subject that not many understands and the film is trying to show that. People getting scared of something they do not understand.

A father, John Gray,  is accused of abusing his daughter but he doesn’t remember the abuse. So professor Kenneth Raines is called in to do a session with him. Professor Raines is a specialist in making people remember things they might have forgotten or repressed. The lead detective Bruce Kenner and Professor Raines leave for a church to talk to John’s daughter Angela about the abuse, later show the abuse was about something else – Satanism. So how are the police going to tackle this? And how are they going to catch the members?

Regression offers a lot of mind fucks through the film, makes you think and suspect everyone as a member of the cult. I’d recommend this film. It’s not a horror film but it’s a drama mystery one.

You see actors like Emma Watson, Ethan Hawke, David Thewlis, Devon Bostick, Aaron Ashmore, Dale Dickey and many more.

NOAH **REVIEW**

After some time I finally got around to see this movie. And I gotta say, it’s something else. In a very good way.

The film begins when Noah as a small child with his father but we also get to see how Noah’s father get brutally murdered. But what the killer doesn’t see is that Noah is hidden.

Then we see Noah again, as a man with a family of his own. The creator shows him a dream what he must do to save the world. But first Noah doesn’t see the message so he decides to take his family to see his grandfather who he is sure will help him understand the message. During his trip to his grandfather, a fallen angel also known as The Watcher helps Noah and his family to his grandfather. Other Watchers think these humans are the same as the ones who almost destroyed the world.. But they get to see their own miracle and understand – Noah isn’t like any other human as they are used to meet.

Now.. Will Noah be able to help his family and all the animals to safety by building this big ark boat? Will he be done in time? And what kind of dangers and obsticles will Noah and his family meet? I would recommend this movie anyone who wish to see it.

You see actors such as Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman and many more.
