Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016) **REVIEW**

Ever since I saw the trailer for this film I wanted to see it, then I saw it few days ago and I was left a little disappointed. It felt rushed and short even though it’s 2 hours long. But the film got it’s charm. And Eddie is one of them.

Newt arrives to New York with a bag filled with magical animals that normally would be killed on sight by the magical world, but he saves them to write a book about them so people will understand them better. But.. one of them gets lose in New York and now he have to find them to only smash into a human who see’s him do magic and he’s not aware of the American magical laws. So he and the human sort of runs away after being arrested. He finds shelter with two ladies from the magical society. The human finds one of them charming and develops a small crush. While they hunting for the animals who later escaped Newts bag they find something else. A wizard with powers who leaves destruction and dead people in its path. So now… hunting down this wizard is a must. At the same time, a society of humans spreads word that there are witches and is on a crusade. But all of this comes together in the end.

The charm about the film is the people, the gang of 4 – 3 wizards and 1 human coming together to fight the evil and find the animals. Newt finds new friends when he’s the loner. We see one wizard who follows the rules to a dot to later break them for the greater good. The human will be one of your favourites, he quickly become mine. And the ending – it will make sense after you getting suspicious of one of the characters. Also..  we get a small glimpse of Johnny Depp.

Actors: Eddie Redmayne, Colin Farrell, Katherine Waterston, Samantha Morton, Dan Fogler, Ezra Miller, Faith Wood-Blagrove, Jen Murray, Johnny Depp and many more.

Les Miserables **REVIEW**

For some reason it took me a while to see this film so when I saw it on Netflix (yeah I know) I thought I’d watch it. And here we go.

Jean Valjean is the one of the main people in the film. For 19 years he’s been slaving for stealing bread for his sisters son so he wouldn’t starve to death. When he’s out and done with it his sentence he wants to start over and with starting over he have to run from the soldiers who will hunt him down. He changes his name and make the mayor of a town. One day he steps into the factory where Fantine works and rest of the girls rallies against her and finds herself thrown out and out of the street. Jean had asked the foreman to take care of the fight so he kicked her out. After a few weeks Jean finds Fantine out on the street where she is very ill and been selling herself so she can send money to an inkeep who takes care of her daughter. Do little does she know the inkeep isn’t very nice to little Cosette. One day Fantine pass away at the hospital and Jean promised to take care of Cosette and make sure she’s safe. And he keeps that promise.

The film itself is actually quite good – better than I thought. Since I usually don’t like musicals. But all the actors have done a fantastic job, even the children. So yeah, I would recommend it to anyone who would like to see it.

You see actors like Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Sacha Baron Cohen, Helena Bonham Carter, Eddie Redmayne and many more.
