The Fate of the Furious (2017) **REVIEW**

We all have heard about or seen all or some of the ‘Fast & Furious’ movie series. The toll is now up to 8 films and this one is smacked with different stars. They even have a actor from Game of Thrones.

‘The Fate of the Furious’ is just a action packed film with explosions. We got the regular gang trying to fight one of their own this time who is working together with a infamous cyber terrorist called Cipher. She is one crazy bitch, if I may say.  We get to see Elena again, the woman Dom had a relationship with in Rio when he thought Letty was dead. And she comes with a surprise one that makes Dom betray his own family and wife to go work for a terrorist.

This being the 8th installment of the film it’s so predictable, we all know the ending. Happy ending, all is well. I’d like to see one ending where it doesn’t end well, something different.

Actors: Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Charlize Theron, Kristofer Hivju, Ludacris, Luke Evans, Nathalie Emmanuel and many more.

Moana (2016) **REVIEW**

When it comes to Disney they seem to stick with the formula that works, a pretty girl, stubborn hero, saving the world.

“Moana” is based on ancient Polynesian culture, there’s this demigod who steals a goddess heart and this heart is the heart of all creation. So when it go stolen by Maui the world slowly started to crumble, there was no fish to fish, plants dying and Islands becoming inhabitable. When Moana was a little girl the ocean showed her the way her life needed to take, she listened but her father did everything he could to prevent her from leaving the Island her and her tribe lived on. But as a preadult she is starting to see how the Island is dying and she listens once again to her calling, with a little help from her grandmother – the village crazy.

So Moana sets sail to find Maui, the demigod who stole the goddess heart so he could put it back. And it won’t be so easy, since he’s a demigod and still believe he’s everyones hero, even though he stole the heart of all creation. It takes a lot of convincing from Moana to make it happen.

The film got it’s regular cheese platter and as it does have a strong female lead, a woman who saves the world, it’s nothing special about the film. It’s a Disney film. It missed the magic that the Disney films used to have back in the day with Aladdin, Beauty and Beast etc. For me the highlight of “Moana” must have been the chicken, they got a retarded (yes) chicken who well.. he makes the film.

Voice actors: Dwayne Johnson, Auli’i Cravalho, Rachel House, Temuera Morrison, Jemaine Clement and many more.

Central Intelligence (2016) **REVIEW**

It took me a while to go and see this film. Something about Kevin Hart I just don’t like but I do like Dwayne Johnson so I thought I’d suck it up and go and watch it.

Central Intelligence is about Bob Stone and his awkward friend from High School Calvin Joyner. Bob gets Calvin to meet up for drinks and first don’t recognize him. And reason for that in high school Bob was humiliated in front of the entire school, thrown into gymnasium naked and was never seen again in school. And now 20 years later the reunion is upon them and Bob resurface by sending Calvin a message on Facebook.

Calvin was voted most likely to succeed back in school but he is stuck in an office job being an accountant. And Calvin hates his job. Little does he know, when he meets up with Bob Stone after 20 years his world is about to be turned up side down with a little action compared to his boring life at the office.

Question is.. will Calvin and Bob reconnect their friendship or will Calvin run for the hills when he finds out what Bob does for a living right now?

Central Intelligence itself is a mediocre funny film, it has it moments when it’s funny but also got moments when I just didn’t want to see what comes next because it was a little embarrassing.

You see actors like Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Amy Ryan, Danielle Nicolet, Jason Bateman, Aaron Paul and many more.

Fast and Furious 7 **REVIEW**

I know a lot of people are skeptic about this movie but I went to see it this afternoon and it was GREAT, just do awesome. In the end (no spoiler) they made the sweetest tribute to Paul Walker (Brian) – it will leave you tear eyes (if you’re sensitive to that, like me).

The gang – Toretto, Brian, Letty, Roman and Tej are back. After the London deal the big bad brother of Shaw is coming after them. First one to go was Han (he died in Tokyo Drift by people thought was a car accident) and Toretto goes to Tokyo to bring him back. They get help by Mr. Nobody and his team – Mr Nobody gives the team an offer to get and help a hacker who made a whole new program called Gods Eye. It’s a hacking program who hacks in to ALL cameras (traffic, phones etc) that are wired to net. You can find anyone with that thing. So the offer is – get the hacker out, bring the hacker to safety and get Gods Eye as help to find Shaw’s brother who’s hunting them where ever they go. And this brother is something else – he managed to get Hobbs down and in to a hospital bed. Scary guy – and the brother is played by the one and only Jason Statham. Now they have to find big Shaw and bring him down – and they have to it in their hometown. And the hacker – A GIRL and you will recognize her from Game of Thrones.

This was a whole new action movie for Fast and Furious and it’s just awesome. You won’t regret watching this and in the end was the best tribute to Paul Walker. His brother played him in some scenes but his face was computer made and I must say – you couldn’t see it, it was so awesome done. And yes I would recommend it for anyone who loves this franchise.

You see actors like Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Kurt Russell, Nathalie Emmanuel and many many more.
