How To Be Single (2016) **REVIEW**

How To Be Single. Is there a right way and the wrong way to be single? Is the right way to be single going out every night to get men to buy you drinks and have meaningless sex? Some would yes while others would probably do that on occasion but would feel a little empty inside.

Alice moves in with her sister in NYC to find out who she is so Alice breaks up with her boyfriend or he breaks up with her. And she feels “What am I about to do now?”. So now she venturing out in New York being single with her co-worker Robin. And there would be some saying she is some sort of bad influence but sometimes you need friends who are a bad influence to have some harmless fun with and cause a bit of mischief.

So what does Alice do now? Well she rents her own apartment. Something of her own.. Before this adventure Alice was that girl who moved out of her mom’s place, to a dorm and then moving into with her boyfriend. So being on her own is something new.

How To Be Single is a romantic comedy, not my usual film to watch. But since it got Rebel Wilson I was intrigued, she’s funny. It got some scenes where you just want to go into a hole and die because they are so painfully awkward. But over all the film was good and very funny. I laughed a few times, raised an eyebrow time to time. Would I recommend it? Yeah I would if you like these corny kind of films, now that is not a bad thing, corny films can be fun to watch sometime. I’d say How To Be Single would probably been a lot more funnier too if Dakota Johnson wouldn’t have been cast as Alice, not a huge fan of her but she does a good job.

You see actors like Dakota Johnson, Rebel Wilson, Leslie Mann, Damon Wayans Jr, Anders Holm, Alison Brie, Nicholas  Braun and many more.

Family/Animated Week: Big Hero 6 (2014) **REVIEW**

Big Hero 6 is recommended for anyone in any age really. It’s a good film, it will make you feel happy, sad, comforted and laugh. The story about Hiro and his friends are a touching story and anyone can relate to it. We all lost someone close in life and we went numb and neglected everything. But with help from family and friends we can always pick ourselves back up again.

Hiro isn’t really the ordinary pre teen. He’s smart – graduated from high school at the age of 13 and doing illegal robo fighting at age of 14. His older brother Tadashi is trying to get Hiro away from that and takes him to his college to show him the “nerd lab”. And of course Hiro is blown away by all the amazing things achieved there and really would like to go. All Hiro have to do is invent something as admission project and hopefully head professor will like it.

Now Hiro manage to invent something that blows so many peoples minds and he shows how smart Hiro actually is. The professor likes it and Hiro is in. But.. There is a fire and he thinks his invention is destroyed and the professor is trapped (as they think) so Tadashi runs in to the flames and gets trapped himself. While Hiro is mourning his brother he finds connection to his brothers last invention – a robot who’s a medical assistant. he also have support from his loving aunt and the other nerds from the “nerd lab”. But Hiro soon discovers that his invention wasn’t destroyed in the fire. Now all he have to do is try to get them back. But how? With a little help from his friends of course.

Big Hero 6 is animated film with voice actors such as: Maya Rudolph, Scott Adsit, Ryan Potter, Daniel Henney, T.J Miller, Jamie Chung, Damon Wayans Jr, Genesis Rodriguez and many more.
