Wonder Woman (2017) **REVIEW**

When it comes to DC I always been a bit iffy. When I heard ‘Wonder Woman’ was going to¬† get a remake and Gal Gadot (Fast and the furious) was going to play Diana I was thrilled, she’s a good actress. When I walked into the cinema screen this weekend I walked in with an open mind and not expecting much, I been very disappointed in past about remakes.

At the start we see Diana as a small child sneaking to see the warriors train, she wants nothing more to train herself and is seen mimic their moves. Her aunt Antiope, the general of Amazon warriors, decides to train her behind Diana’s mother – Amazon Queen. Until Diana’s early/mid teen her mother catches them training and then she decides to let Diana get trained, harder than anyone. Diana grows up to be the best warrior but still get easily distracted.

So, when Diana is standing by a cliff she see’s an airplane crashing into the water, she saves the pilot – Steve. Shortly after the island where the Amazons are gets a visit from the Germans and most of them dies in the attack because they got new weapons that Amazons never seen before – guns. So you know guns VS swords and bows, I am sure you can guess which one would win when the enemy got a distance. But the Amazons wins with a little help from Steve. But the ladies isn’t convinced that he is a good one but Diana want to help him after he describes the outside world an she wants to help, convinced Aries is behind the World War 2. Her mother allows her to leave, so Diana does knowing she might never be able to return home to her mother.

Diana goes out in the World War 2, helping people with the help of 3 men. She is seeing 2 sides of men, the good one and the bad one. Still convinced Aries is behind it at all and thinking a German general is Aries, she is ruthless and goes after him, but little did she know, she already met Aries, but he makes his presence known by the end, where we get introduced to him and we see who he is. And I promise, it’s ALWAYS the last person you’d ever think it would be.

But is ‘Wonder Woman’ a good film for this generation of young ladies? I’d say so. Diana is a kickass warrior who can take care of herself, she speaks over 100 languages and she won’t walk away from a fight, she stays and she wins. A good statement to show young ladies today. Myself is a little like her, I don’t speak 100 languages, I speak 2 – both fluent. I don’t walk away with the smallest sign of difficulty. I would recommend to go and see and see ‘Wonder Woman’ today with your friends, nieces, sisters why not go and see it with your male friends, brothers, nephews? Anyone can see this and leave feeling ready to take on anything. Gal Gadot did a amazing job as ‘Wonder Woman’ and I can’t wait to see more of her version of Diana.

Actors: Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Said Taghmaoui, Ewen Bremner, Eugene Brave Rock and many more.

3 DAYS TO KILL **REVIEW**

I spent my Saturday evening watching so many good things on Netflix, like 3 Days To Kill. I missed it when it was out in the cinema so when I saw it was available on Netflix I got so happy, grabbed my popcorn and began to watch it.

I got happily surprised on that movie, it was filled with action and heart warming moments. About a CIA agent who discovers he got an incurable cancer and got 3 months left to live. He decides to go back to Paris where his wife and daughter currently lives, he wants to be there for them during his last time on earth. When he expects peace, there isn’t. A woman named Vivi from CIA tracks him down and wants him to kill someone they been tracking for so long, in exchange he gets a experimental drug that’s suppose to help him and get better. Now he have a choice, should he do this last job or spend all his time to get to know his daughter once again.

During his adventures in Paris there is alot of comedian situations with his clueless daughter. I would recommend this movie to anyone, maybe not a family film for anyone under 13 years of age. You see Kevin Costner in the mainrole as the CIA agent.
