Krampus (2015) **REVIEW**

I know it’s not Christmas but I couldn’t pass on watching this film when I had the chance. Been wanting to see it since December and I got all giddy I had to watch it and boy – I was not disappointed. The wait was all worth it.

Max is a boy who believes in Christmas, Santa and all that comes with. Christmas is coming round the corner, his mother’s sister and her husband + kids are coming to spend the holidays with Max, his sister Beth, his mother Sarah and father Tom. These two parts family doesn’t go along very well but they suffer through because it’s Christmas. During first night dinner two of the cousins find Max’s letter to Santa and mocks him… so Max gets upset, runs to his room and tear up the letter and wish for something he will sooner regret. His grandmother starts telling a story about Krampus and how he took everyone away.

Soon as you lose all hope during Christmas, Krampus and his helpers are coming to town. And now the family who hate each other have to work together to stay alive and make sure no one gets hurt. But how easy is it when you have killer Christmas cookies shooting pins at you? A giant jack in the box trying to eat you and a psychotic giant bear.

You see actors like Emjay Anthony, Adam Scott, Toni Collette, Stefania LaVie Owen, Krista Stadler, Conchata Ferrell, David Koechner and many more.

Christmas with the Kranks (2004) **REVIEW**

Christmas with the Kranks – a married couple decide to skip Christmas and go on a Carribean cruise.

Luther and Nora Krank are a couple who used to have a epic Christmas and a to die for Christmas party. But since their daughter joined the peace core and she be in peru they thought a luxoury cruise would be better and they would save money. But when Luther takes it a step further to skip Christmas altogether, everyone loses their minds. Everyone in the neighbourhood think they are insane and goes on a what you maybe can call witch hunt – to make them put up their tree and ornaments outside the house. But they stick to their plan. They are 24h away from the cruise and their daughter calls – she’s coming home. Oh no.

Christmas with the Kranks is a funny film and the entire family would appreciate watching it. But think about this for a second, how many haven’t thought about skipping Christmas sometime just to save money? But always end up doing same thing over each year. I always like watching Christmas with the Kranks and each year I find it hilarious.

You see actors like Tim Allen, Jamie Lee Curtis, Dan Aykroyd, M Emmet Walsh, Elizabeth franz, Erik Per Sullivan, Felicity Huffman and many more.

A Christmas horror movie, spoken language in this movie is Dutch but you can find it with english subtitles.

The movie begins in 1498 when St Niklas went around villages killing and stealing. One village had enough and burned him alive on his boat. At 1968, he is back. An entire family slaughtered expect for 1 boy – who find his parent dead and siblings missing.

The tale goes as St Niklas goes around a leaving presents forĀ  children – almost like Santa. But do people know the real truth about St Niklas!? The movie jumps to December 5th 2010 (when the movie was made), we’re in a school and students recieve presents. One guy, Frank, gets what you can call – break up present. The tale about St Niklas is a tale that not everyone knows at 2010 and not everyone takes it seriously. A full moon at December 5th only happens every 32 years. So do you think he will be back now? And what will people do to stop him this time?

Expect alot of blood in this movie, if you’re sensitive to that stuff be aware. I wouldn’t recommend this movie to anyone under 16/17 due to all the blood. But the movie itself is good. Worth a watch.
