Lately, I been disappointed on horror movies. They haven’t been scary much, a jump here and there but it haven’t made you sit tense on your couch with a blanket covering your face because you’re scared. But Annabelle… Got me shaking – dolls can be creepy and Annabelle proved that.
Based on a true story Mia & John are expecting their first child when they get brutally attacked in their own home by satanic cultists. Mia gets stabbed but her and her child makes it. After the event Mia experience some uncomfortable things in her home and feels she wants to move to protect her child. But in the new place… it came with her and now its worse. Far worse. Driving Mia mad, she starts investigating why she got attacked and why is she experiencing what she is experiencing in her own home? She seeks comfort, guidence and answers from books until she have to get help from the pastor from her church.
Annabelle got me jumping a few times, felt my pulse. It was made it such way it was uncomfortable. The producer who made “The Conjuring” made Annabelle – so if you the The Conjuring, you will like Annabelle. And I can say after seeing Annabelle – dolls officially creeps me out. I would recommend this movie to anyone who’d like to see it. Today – the real Annabelle doll is in a museum owned by Lorraine & Ed Warren. (Ed have passed, now Lorraine is running it)
You see actors like Annabelle Wallis, Ward Horton, Tony Amendola, Alfre Woodard and many more.
