Taken (2008) **REVIEW**

We all know the franchise of “Taken” how a father is a former CIA and his daughter gets kidnapped from Paris ad he goes after to find her. It’s a very iconic film and quite the scary one who shows a light of Europe that isn’t shown very much. Because most like to believe Europe is safe.

Kim is a 17-year-old girl living with her mom and her rich stepdad, her father recently came back in her life after he retired from the CIA. She want to go to Europe with her friend Amanda but at first Bryan is reluctant to let her go but he signs the papers that allow her to leave the country under age of 18.

Shortly after Kim and her friend arrive at the apartment where they will be staying they get kidnapped and Bryan who was on the phone with his daughter Kim during the time of the kidnapping decided to go to Paris and find her – he got 96H to find her and then, he’ll never see her again so he better act fast. So exactly how much damage can a former CIA agent cause Paris? A hell lot when it comes to his daughter.

I can’t count how many times I must have seen Taken, first one is always the best. We see a dad going to extreme lengths to save his little girl but any parent would really.

Actors: Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace, Leland Orser, Katie Cassidy, Olivier Rabourdin, Fanke Janssen and many more.
