Max Steel (2016) **REVIEW**

We have so many different super hero films out there today that it can be hard to keep track of them all and we now have another super hero film; Max Steel. When I saw the trailer for it I was hesitant of watching it and I should have stayed away. Max Steel is a mediocre superhero film, the jokes are half funny. You will get a half giggle out. The little robot with him is the only thing I found charming about the film.

Max seems to be a normal teenager until him and his mom moves back to his hometown where he was born and strange things started happening to him. His body started to generate energy, which he got scared first ( who wouldn’t be) and then we embraced it until this little flying robot came along and the entire town is now in danger. It all goes back to Max’s father.

Max Steel is a very short film in my opinion, it could have been a little longer with more back story. If we had more information about what happened in the past and who his dad really was then the film itself would probably been a lot better, maybe also letting the little robot having a robotic voice instead of sounding like a teen boy who not yet hit puberty.

Actors: Ben Winchell, Josh Brener, Maria Bello, Andy Garcia, Ana Villafane and many more.
