The Purge: Election Year (2016) **REVIEW**

I am a huge fan of The Purge franchise. I always being asked why. It’s because these films showing a scary future that might happen if one wrong person get’s elected. It’s like a wake up call. And also, every film is different. It’s different scenarios in each film and that is what I love the MOST about The Purge franchise.

The way in the first The Purge we see how a family gets attacked when the boy helps a homeless man being chased. And in the second we see a man Leo helping a group of people surviving purge night and we also see the homeless man from first one fighting for anti purge group. In the third, we see Leo and homeless man again. And this time we see Leo and Dante (homeless man) once again in the third.

Leo is now working in security and protecting Senator Charlie Roan from being assassinated on purge night. Because founding fathers took one rule out for this night; no one is safe, not even politicians. Perfect way to get rid of her. As a group of white power hired by founding fathers enters her home, Leo is the only one to protect her. Til they stumble upon a deli owned by Joe. As Leo is trying to keep Senator safe during this time we see how two stories flows together into one. As when Senator gets kidnapped by government militia so how is she getting out of this one? Have the government gone too far with purge night? Have the people gone too far as well? Exactly how will this night turn out for Senator, Leo, Joe and the rest? When they are trying to survive this horrible night. We all know purge night brings out the worst in people and everyone just want to survive the night.

Actors: Frank Grillo, Elizabeth Mitchell, Mykelti Williamson, Joseph Julian Soria, Betty Gabriel, Edwin Hodge, Kyle Secor and many more.
