The Last Witch Hunter (2015) **REVIEW**

I have to admit when I found out Vin Diesel was going to have the lead role in a fantasy film I was highly skeptical. Since we all are used to see him in action films. But I was pleasantly surprised.

Kaulder, a witch hunter. He is cursed by the Witch Queen to live for an eternity. He lives on, hunts witches and other beings. He works with the church who keeps his secret of his existence.  In present day Kaulder is being attacked by someone who knows more about his past then what he remembers. His guardian priest gets attacked, while everyone thinks he is dead Kaulder knows he isn’t dead – yet. He need to find the witch who put a curse on him to make him come back. But he is working against time and the enemy – who seems smart and always one step ahead. Kaulder takes help from a witch, yes. You heard me. The being he hunts and puts away, he takes help from her. But she isn’t like any other witch. She’s good and rarely uses her power. We get to know the source of Kaulder’s immortality curse and how he can be killed.

The Last Witch Hunter. Was a little slow in the beginning and I think the film was a little short, could been longer. Ended fast. But you get to know a lot so you have to keep up with the story. Seeing Vin Diesel doing fantasy is something different indeed and he does it well.

You see actors like Vin Diesel, Rose Leslie (seen on Game of Thrones), Elijah Wood, Olafur Darri Olafsson, Rena Owen, Michael Caine, Joseph Gilgun and many more.
