The Gunman (2015) **REVIEW**

From the directors that gave you “Taken” now gives you The Gunman. And excellent high shooting film with Sean Penn in the leadrole as Terrier – a former sniper who works for a mercenary team and kills the minister of mines in Congo 2006..

When he arrives to Congo years later to work on building wells for villages and gets attacked by a group of men who’s looking for “the white man”. He instantly knows it’s a hit and he was targeted. So he travels to London to speak to one of his former colleague. But during his time in London he gets dizzy and passes out. At the hospital he finds out he got a brain injury very common with people who used to be close explosives and tossed around – like military. So he is ordered to not be around loud surroundings.

He doesn’t listen – so he goes to Barcelona to find another colleague. He need to find out who is after him and why. So when in Barcelona he finds out his former love Annie is now married to his former colleague. But while he is Barcelona he gets attacked again and this time chased around Barcelona. He gets approached by an English man to help him stop the people who is doing this..

Will he find out who attacked him and why? Have it something to do with the assassination of the minister in Congo? Some might think it’s a boring film but I quite liked it. You need to follow the entire film – if you lose yourself you will lose the plot.

You see Sean Penn, Jasmine Trinca, Javier Bardem, Ray Winston, Mark Rylance, Idris Elba and many more.
