Ragnarok is comes from Nordic Mythology meaning doomsday – end of the world as we know it. But in this film – Ragnarok isn’t doomsday. As well all know, legends started somewhere and in time it changes and becomes something else. Like in this case, in this film. Sigurd have spend years and years researching a viking ship and it’s meaning. Trying to figure out who’s and where and why it’s there. He knows he belonged to a viking queen Åsa and that she, her father and their men hid something by a lake called “Odins Eye”. Sigurds research partner Allan find an old rune stone and the two men decides to go out in the northern wilderness in Norway to find “Odins Eye”. But there is one thing, Sigurd promised his 2 children they would go an holiday so he have to convince them to go with him on this trip. They believe it’ll be boring and nothing will happen, they won’t find anything. But…. they never expected the true meaning behind Ragnarok and why the vikings went to “Odins Eye” until they arrive.
