Cult Week: The Troll Hunter **REVIEW**

I kick of the cult week with a movie called The Troll Hunter. Maybe to some it’s not cult but after you seen this one you might understand why I choose this film.

If you grew up and been told about trolls – house trolls, forest trolls etc. Forget about that. They are not cute  and not helpful. That are stories  that your parents tell you. This film is absolutely the best film I’ve seen about trolls. It’s a Norwegian film so make sure you have subtitles when you see this one – if you don’t understand Norwegian.

A group of 3 students from University of Volda hear about a lot of dead bears int he area so they check it out. They speak to the hunters and they tell the students there are always the same guy showing up at all locations. So the students decide they would like to talk to him and get an interview. But he won’t talk to them – so they do something foolish like follow him into the woods. Where they hear strange noises and flashing lights. The guy comes running towards them yelling “TROLL” so they all start running. Now, they have a opportunity  to talk to him and they get to follow him around to hunt down trolls who are as tall as a skyscraper. Difficult to kill but not impossible. And something is key to hunt them down – smear yourself with troll smell and DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT be Christian.

You see actors lie Otto Jespersen, Glenn Erland Tosterud, Johanna Morck, Tomas Alf Larsen, Urmila Berg-Domaas, Hans Morten Hansen and many more.
