Yesterday evening I saw that a movie I been wanting to see for a long time was on the British Netflix – The Family.
The main characters are being played by Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Dianna Agron, John D’Leo and Tommy Lee Jones. It’s a comedy movie filled amazing funny action. The story isn’t like any other movie I’ve seen in a long time.
A mafia boss (Robert DeNiro) from Brooklyn, NYC testifies against his entire mafia family. So he now have to live on the run with FBI (Tommy Lee Jones) and his family (Michelle Pfeiffer, Dianna Agron & John D’Leo). The entire family have what you can call short temper. And they got their own speciality. The daughter beats up guys, the son takes on his new bullies, the wife doesn’t like when someone works against her when she tries to fit in and the father kills or hurts anyone who doesn’t agree with him and all of this is being while they’re under witness protection and Tommy Lee Jones is having a hard time figuring out where he should put the family next.
It’s an amazing movie with so much humor and creative violence. I wouldn’t say you should see this with your children because it contains a good amount of swearing words. I’d say +13 and up.
