Not long ago Dawn of the Planet of the Apes premiered at the cinema. I had the luck to see it BEFORE it got released. How!? Well, I got a a membership card of Cineworld and July 15th they had a secret screening for members and they showed Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Was a nice surprise.
I liked the movie alot. Some dissed it straight away when the movie was over. Said they hated it. But myself – I liked it. It may not have alot of action but it got story and to understand this movie you have to see the movie that comes before this one. To me the movie was amazing.
It’s 10 years after the first movie – the apes live well in the forest. Not alot of humans left in the world after an world epidemic. There is no electricity or normal living. The humans want to go up in the forest to see if they can put the dam into power again to get electricity to be able to survive.
The humans goes to the forest to try and reach the dam and fix it. But run into the apes. Caesar is the leader of the apes and he wants to trust the humans that soon as they had their dam fixed they will leave and let the apes be. That is the humans idea as well. But there is one ape that doesn’t like that agreement and same with some of the humans.
So can the humans get along with the apes long enough to fix the broken dam? Can the apes trust the humans? Can humans trust the apes? Or should the apes trust each other. Watch the movie, you won’t regret it. But make sure you’ve seen the movie before this one.
